Blog Archive Beyond the MBA Classroom Enjoy a Small Group Dinner at Stanford When you select an MBA program, you are not just choosing your learning environment, but are also committing to becoming part of a community. Each Thursday, we offer a window into life “beyond the MBA classroom” at a top business school. At the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB),  Small Group Dinners, which the school sponsors, provide a way for first- and second-year students to interact in small groups. Each dinner must be announced publicly and must involve a small number of people who have not had such a get-together before. On his blog, one second-year student wrote that the dinners are “an excellent way to make new friends and learn more about classmates.” For in-depth descriptions of social and community activities at the Stanford GSB and 15 other top MBA programs, check out the  mbaMission Insider’s Guides.
